Owner

As the Founder of PACE Design & Construction, I lead our team in delivering high-quality building solutions rooted in craftsmanship and collaboration. Growing up immersed in workshops, hardware stores, and job sites, my earliest memories are of true creators at work, and my first builds took shape during a humanitarian trip to Russia in the early '90s, working alongside craftsmen from a bygone era. After studying Religion and Political Science at Denison University, I began my professional career with NVR and EYA in Washington, D.C., where I was fortunate to be mentored by world-class individuals whose high standards and generosity continue to shape my work today. My colleagues can always count on me to uphold these standards with gratitude, respect, and a commitment to meaningful work. Outside of PACE, I find my greatest joy with my wife, Amy, and our son, Tuck, whose patient and loving support make everything we do possible.

Yuri Castro

Director of Operations

I manage the operational systems that keep everything running smoothly—from streamlining internal processes to ensuring no detail falls through the cracks. With a background in small business operations, I bring a flexible, solution-oriented mindset and thrive on creating structure that helps teams work smarter. Whether it’s HR, tech transitions, or project planning, I approach each challenge with both big-picture strategy and attention to detail. My team can always count on me to stay calm under pressure, follow through, and make things happen efficiently. Outside of work, I love traveling and exploring new cultures through their food—it's my favorite way to connect with a place and its people.

Jocelyn Lybrand

Marketing Assistant

I handle all things marketing—managing emails, the website, social media, and overall strategy to help tell our story and connect with our audience. I bring a diverse background in lead generation, program management, and working closely with executives, which helps me juggle many moving parts and keep things moving smoothly. One thing my coworkers can always count on me for? Writing everything down! Outside of work, you’ll usually find me outdoors with my family, especially hiking and exploring nature.

Ron Robinson

Shop Manager

I’ve spent most of my career working with paint and finishes—that’s where my expertise lies. For nearly a decade at Home Depot, I helped both contractors and homeowners choose the right products for their projects, and before that, I spent seven years at Duron Paints, honing my knowledge of surface preparation, coatings, and application techniques. I’m also a Certified Lead Paint Inspector, trained to assess and manage older materials safely. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep understanding of everything from product selection to solving tricky finish challenges, and I bring that experience to every job. Whether it's offering solid advice or just showing up and getting the work done, my team knows they can always count on me.

Sam Patton

Matterport Technician

At PACE, I work as a Matterport Capture Specialist, where I conduct 3D scans and create virtual tours that support real estate marketing, construction documentation, and architectural planning. What I enjoy most about my role is seeing how these immersive digital tools help clients visualize spaces in a whole new way—it’s rewarding to know my work directly contributes to more informed design and construction decisions. I bring a background in archival imaging and digital preservation from institutions like the Smithsonian and the National Archives, along with extensive experience in 3D scanning, color management, and technical consultation. My coworkers can always count on me to deliver high-quality, precise digital assets and to troubleshoot even the most complex imaging challenges. Outside of work I love experimenting with film and digital formats whenever I get the chance.

Sanaz M. Dehkordi

Project Development / Design Coordinator

I lead interior architectural design, manage material selections, and coordinate communication between clients and vendors—ensuring every element aligns with both the vision and the logistics of a project. With a background in architecture and hands-on experience in residential design and renovations, I bring both technical knowledge and aesthetic sensitivity to the table. I’m passionate about translating ideas into spaces that are not only beautiful but also highly functional, and I build trusted relationships along the way. My team knows me as someone who’s meticulous with documentation, attentive to deadlines, and consistently detail-oriented. Outside of work I enjoy swimming and being a part of a team. I also enjoy exploring different cultures through travel, art, and live performances—it’s how I stay inspired and connected to the world around me.

Holly Schwinn

Office Administrative Assistant

I keep our operations running smoothly by supporting both the big picture and the small details that keep projects on track. With a background in hospitality and client service at IHG Hotels & Resorts and Marriott, I bring strong organizational skills and multitasking ability. I thrive in collaborative environments where I can anticipate needs, streamline workflows, and help the team stay proactive and focused. My goal is always to create clarity and efficiency so we can deliver exceptional results without losing momentum. Outside of work, I enjoy swimming, spending time with friends and family, and exploring creative outlets like photography or building with Legos—it’s how I recharge while staying inspired.
